Just a few pictures from home that I snapped the other day. The sunrises and sunsets have been pretty stunning lately. I only wish that I were a better photographer to capture these moments. Still...some of them are not too bad. At least you get the idea. Your imagination can fill in the gaps

Christmas Spirit Award

We delivered our first ever Bollinger Christmas Spirit Awards the other night. Every night when we drove down the highway on the way home we would pass a house that was beautifully decorated with Christmas lights. We got to talking about it one night and both the hubby and I mentioned how much we appreciated the efforts that some people go to in order to decorate for Christmas. We ourselves are not so good in that department. However we do appreciate it when other people do. We decided that it would be a lot of fun to make an award and then drive around town finding the very best of the best lights. If we came to a house that was absolutely above and beyond the rest we would stop and knock on the door and deliver our cute little homemade award certificate. I customized and printed some out and the kids colored them. These were the four award winners for this year.

This is the house we passed every night that inspired us. This is only part of the display. One picture could not capture all of the fun things that they have done.
