Advent Story Dec. 9

This is a fictionalized story based on events which took place on the American Continent at the time of Christ's birth. For anyone not of the LDS faith, this might be unfamiliar territory so I'll try to give you a quick rundown. The Book of Mormon gives an account of the people who were led out of Jerusalem and across the ocean to the American Continent about 600 years before Christ was born. It talks about what happens to them and testifies that they were not only aware of Christ and his doctrines but also eventually saw him after he was resurrected. This particular Christmas story takes place during the period of time right before Christ was born when many of the people who had once believed that Christ would come had fallen away from their faith or had given up.
