I was asked by a friend to sub on a co-ed softball team the other night. The problem was that we already had two strikes against us. one: We didn't start playing until 10:00 P.M. and two: It was SO BLOODY COLD that night we were sliding on about an inch of ice on the outfield grass. I had so many layers on I looked like a big, pudgy polar bear. "Why?" you ask, do I say yes to these kinds of things? I'm not quite sure. I think I'm a glutton for punishment. Or maybe that competitive spirit is just so ingrained in my brain that I'm just not capable of saying no. Or maybe when it's all said and done, I just love SPORT!

Thank you for coming. I am still having trouble remembering that any of us were there freezing our tails off! Thanks again for helping us out! Maybe you can be full time on the team in the spring!?!
you look so cute all bundled up...hey its what you get in the northwest...it would be warmer in AZ, eh??? I actually played on a coed rec team this year....it is super fun..you should do it for sure!

Julie, you know that favor I did for you the other day? IT kind of freaked me out. I got nervous you sere going to say Yes! Then what. That would have been funny.
Wow! it looks SO cold! I am so glad that we are living down South now!! We are glad you are having fun!
